twilight series books
Since the writing, character development and plot in the Twilight series books is so bad is it sinful?

Charging $ for these books like they constituted some form of entertainment or literary value or any value at all is clearly stealing.

Lmao…I don’t know about sinful, but a request to read those books makes hell look tempting, also the die-hard fans, especially my nieces, have become obsessed nuisances. I had to sit through the first movie…the agony! I am fine with the whole harry potter thing, because those books are well written but Twilight is rubbish. : /

Twilight Zone

Twilight Zone

$9.99

An original anthology celebrating Rod Serling’s landmark television series When it first aired in 1959, The Twilight Zone was nothing less than groundbreaking television. Freed from much of the censors’ strict oversight because of the show’s classification as “science fiction,” the 156 filmed episodes explored powerful and moving human themes—love, hate, pride, jealousy, terror—in their own unique style. The show has since inspired two revivals, as well as fiction, comic books, and magazines, and even a pinball game and theme park rides. Just as important, it sparked the imaginations of countless writers, filmmakers, and fans around the world, and is considered a seminal show for broadening the horizons of television. This anthology will be an all-new collection of stories written in the vein of the original television show. 2009 is the fiftieth anniversary of The Twilight Zone’s first broadcast year. Edited and featured and introduction by Carol Serling, the anthology will include brand new stories by science fiction and fantasy luminaries such as Whitley Strieber, Loren D. Estleman, Joe Lansdale, R. L. Stine, Timothy Zahn, and Peter S. Beagle, as well as writers from the original series, Earl Hammer and Harlan Ellison®, all in honor of Rod’s incredible vision.

Part fantasy, part vampire story, and part detective potboiler, this is the most successful science fiction series of all time in Russia and a true international sensation. In America, Fox Searchlight released the film adaptations of Night Watch and Day Watch to rapturous reviews.
The world of Lukyanenko is as elaborate and imaginative as Tolkien or the best Asimov: Living among us are the "Others," an ancient race of humans with supernatural powers who swear allegiance to either the Dark or the Light. A thousand-year treaty has maintained the balance of power, and the two sides coexist in an uneasy truce.

In Twilight Watch, the Others face their greatest threat yet. A renegade Other, his identity as yet unknown, has absconded with a fabled spell-book of untold power and appears bent on attacking the entire earth. Now forces of the Light and the Dark — the Night Watch and the Day Watch — must cooperate to stop him. Anton, the hero from Night Watch, is back, but when the culprit turns out to be none other than his partner, the race against time becomes more urgent than ever. In a world where reality and magic commingle, and where different degrees of existence are layered one atop the other, nothing is ever quite what it seems.
