What are the best selling genres in books?
Like what particular genre is sold more? PLEASE list your source if you can. I also wouldn’t mind just giving me a website (preferably a credible one) that answers my question.
Probably Thriller/Crime. Patterson, Koontz, Connelly, De Mille, Silva, Brown, Berry, et al seem to be leading the pack. According to the NY Times, Ken Follet is on top this week. According to Library Journal’s most updated figures – 2005 – it was mystery. Mystery and thriller have kind of become one genre.
