the bill dvd box set
Anyone own a DVD player?

I just got my first DVD player and having problems with its implementation. I Magnavox DVD player and three son is hooked to my cable box. The power and eject button works, but when I on play, nothing happens. I even have it on the channel 3. I called my cable company and they gave me codes different for the program and none of them worked. And if I want one of their technicians to come and watch, they will charge me an additional $ 30 on my cable bill. Do I need a coaxial cable? At castzpg, nope, no help, thanks anyway.

Back back for a second … There are different types of cables for different things. I'll try to explain them here: Co-ax cable is the cable coming out of the wall the cable company. Who uses the VHF frequency to transmit the signal. This is a single connection, like this: cable —> Cable —> TV Box http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=7811226 older equipment used for working the same way. VCRs DVD players and would send the signal on VHF, and they communicate "in line" with other equipment. A bit like this: Satellite TV -> Video -> TV or cable -> STB -> VCR -> TV How things have changed it has become for new ways to connect things. When people wanted a better quality audio / video, they "upgraded to an RCA connector. RCA connectors are red, white and yellow in color. = Right audio, white = left audio (or mono) Yellow = video Red. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10803818 So to connect your DVD player, it probably looks like this: DVD Red <——–> TV Audio DVD Red White <—–> Audio TV DVD WHITE <—-> Yellow TV Video 1 yellow input here is where the confusion comes from television usually have multiple entries. VHF (cable) input, 1 video input (RCA) Video 2 (RCA) etc. .. These are used to receive the signal from one of many sources: Cable Box, DVD player, VCR, etc. .. The thing is, the junction boxes are not normally used to connect a DVD player or VCR to your TV. The red / white / yellow connections on your cable box are normally RCA outputs to your TV, no inputs for connecting a VCR or DVD player. I think that's where the problem is. (I make an assumption on the cable box, as I have no model number or anything to go here.) You should probably look at the back the TV to see what type of connections you have. This way, you can determine what you can connect to it. If you have only one RCA input and the cable box is to use it, you can use a coaxial cable from your cable box to your TV, then use RCA video input on your TV to your DVD player:. If your TV does not have RCA inputs, then buy a video switch box like this http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9893724&findingMethod=rr Or this: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do ? product_id = 2181628 & findingMethod = rr Connect your cable box and DVD player to the box, then connect the box to your TV. If you can edit your question with the number model and brand of your TV and decoder, I can probably help you understand. Mark

Tom Crean's Six Plays from the Box Set (DVD)

Tom Crean’s Six Plays from the
box set (DVD)

$39.99

With Tom Crean, Indiana University Head Coach; former Marquette University Head Coach; 2x Conference USA Coach of the Year; 2003 NCAA Final Four Coach Crean takes the box set series and breaks it down into parts. The box set can confuse the defense by running different action out of the same set. The first box set places two perimeter players at the elbows and flows into a ball side triangle. The flare screen and post feed split action creates several problems for the defense. The goal of these plays is to reverse the ball and force one defender to guard two offensive players on the weak side. Box #2 places a shooter on the left block and is a good late 3-point shot. Box #3 is a misdirection play with ball screens. Spacing out on the perimeter allows the cross screen action and the screen the screener action to materialize. Box #4 is perfect for a lay up coming out of a time out. Refusal of the ball screen creates penetration and dish possibilities or a lay up. The flare screen in Box #5 sets up a hard back screen on the post, sending him to the open block area for post position. The last option is a double screen for your post player for a jump shot. The final box play creates an isolation for a guard, a double screen for a shooter and an over-the-top chest cut. 2007.
