What do you do when you can not enter in a book?
Do you give up or push through it. 160 pgs Im in stephen kings bag of bones, and I'm bored to death.
When I go to the library, I check 5 or 6 pounds. If I get to page 60 or more and I do 'm not enjoying the book I start another book. I never feel obliged to finish a book. Unless you have had the chance to take a couple of books by authors I know and trust, I rarely found more than one book that I like in 5 / finish. Find another book. What can be easier said than do. I have to compile lists of recommended books here on answers …. Some I have not tried because I am not in the mood another Vampire series right now. 
Anyway Do not waste your time on a book that you dislike.
