ELIZABETH POOLE (or poles) (August 25, 1588) She was born in East Devon, England. In 1633, she left England, and his brother William, has acquired much land that became the Taunton, Massachusetts settlement in 1638. It was the first woman known to have founded a city in the Americas.
ELIAS HOWE, JR (born July 9, 1819) was an American inventor and pioneer of the sewing machine. He was born in Spencer, Massachusetts. He lived in Massachusetts through its years as a young adult. Howe was not the first to arrive at the idea of a sewing machine, other before him have done, but it has refined these ideas into a realistic machine. In 1846 he was awarded the first U.S. patent for a sewing machine lockstitch with a design. For several years he has defended its patent in court against Isaac Singer and others who took his design and sold it. He founded the Company Howe Machine in 1866. Howe died at the age of 48, October 3, 1867.
DEERING Howard Johnson (born February 2, 1897). Johnson was born in Boston, Massachusetts. As a young man, he worked at his father's cigar business. After World War, his father died and left her the company was overleveraged. Johnson wound up the company, but that does not eliminate the $ 10,000 he owed to this subject. He entered the restaurant to pay that off. He bought a small soda shop in 1925, which finally increased chain Howard Johnson restaurants and motels. He died in 1972 at the age of 76 years.

Theodor Seuss Geisel (March 2, 1904) He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, the son of German immigrants. His father managed their family brewery. He attended college and Dartmough Lincoln College, Oxford. Geisel wrote more than 60 children's books such as The Cat in the Hat, green eggs and ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, etc. Of course, Geisel is more commonly known by his pen name Dr. Seuss. Geisel died after being ill for several years in San Diego, California on September 24, 1991 at the age of 87.
JAMES DOUGLAS MUIR LENO (April 28, 1950) is born in New Rochelle, New York, and grew up in Andover, Massachusetts. Jay has been the host of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, from 1992-2009. Then, in September 2009, he began primetime Jay Leno Show. In March 2010, he will return to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno again.
