I have to buy some second-line cheap college textbooks. Can anyone suggest a site?
I'm a freshman loan student trying to save a dollar. Can anyone help?
My method: Find the ISBN of the textbook by looking up the book at amazon.com. Then check out the market, half.com, and then sites: Abebooks.com – has tons of international editions sold through it (cheaper, but in your pocket.) Ensure that vendors are though. I noticed a lot of Singapore, which would have an extended shipping time. Facebook.com market. This is not very largest yet. I have not bought any textbook out of it, but I've sold 3. You do not have to worry about shipping, you could pick the book up uloop.com – This has only open for 20 campus so far. My university is one of them, but take a look to see if yours is still there. Pricegrabber.com – you can compare prices here. It is not always 100% accurate, however. I <3 books used.
Good luck!

Beyond Textbooks $32 Technology is a key driver of educational innovation, and a variety of programmes focusing on investment in infrastructure, equipment, in-service training and digital learning resources have been established to promote its usage in primary and secondary schools. So far, little comparative analytical attention has been devoted to understanding how digital resources improve the quality of learning and to assessing the public policies that support their development and use, and the role played by other stakeholders like publishers, broadcasting companies and increasingly user communities. This publication aims to fill that gap by both reviewing and evaluating the process of systemic innovation. Drawing on case studies from five Nordic countries, the report assembles information on the knowledge bases and policy actors which impact each phase of this innovation process and the main factors which influence its success including governance, financing and user involvement. |
