Molasses Crinkle Recipe?

Well here’s the story: My grandmother new a friend in the 60’s and her friend made molasses crinkle cookies, and my grandmother tried one. They were really delicious! She got the recipe from her friend, and we think it was either from a Betty Crocker Cook Book, or a Home and Garden cook book, but we are leaning towards Home and Garden. She made the cookies and everyone in our family loved them, even cousins, mothers, grandmothers, siblings, everyone. Everybody loved them because they were so delicious! Then, my grandmother lost the written recipe and couldn’t remember the certain amounts. So, I’m wondering, does anyone have any idea what the Home and Garden (or maybe Betty Crocker) Cook Book recipe from the 60’s for Molasses Crinkles is? Thank you so much if you know! This is a mystery our family cannot solve, we try every Christmas to try to exact the recipe, but they are never the same.
