Best TV Detective?

I think it was Ms. Fletcher personally. Anyway, I'll buy the DVD of a detective TV, I saw most episodes of "Monk" and a ton of "Murder, She Wrote." I thought I had the original Perry Mason show because I saw the films of the 80s and loved it. I also like the law. It is also Columbo, I saw one episode and it is ok. I do not want a show that tells you who has done since the beginning, as some episodes of Monk or Columbo film version (the one with Johnny Cash). Thus, showing that I should get on DVD? Personally, I have all the dvd sets Columbo series complete that were published (other than the 8 series, I'm waiting to come down in price as it has only 4 episodes). Like the how we see the crime and the clues the killer leaves behind.I never really looked when they were shown on television so that all the episodes are fresh to me, but even now I'm rewatching again and probably even better the 2nd time around.Theres some wonderful guest stars and an episode is even directed by Stephen Spielberg before leaving to become a movie Top director.You can take the first season really cheap on Amazon or Play.com and I urge you to give go.Enjoy.Oh … Just One More Thing!
