In Raiders of the Lost Ark DVD Under the special features do they show you how to melt the face effect?

I was really frustrated about how they did the effect in Raiders of the Lost Ark where the evil face back and I was wondering if the DVD shows how they did in the scenes footage. Please help.

I do not know if it's on the DVD, but I read somewhere that they did in covering the skulls with gelatin molded to resemble the actors' faces, then melt them with hot air. I think the time-lapse photography was also used to make the merger go faster on the screen. I found a link that confirms the above and provides more details.
