It was that day in 1880 that Mary Ann Evans is dead. We know better under his name Feather – George Eliot. To be successful, she felt it was necessary to use the name of a man. Now women Garner are important literary awards and recognition. Have they reached a new record?

For women in what is generally considered (Yet) on the ground of a man, yes … they have certainly made some inroads lately. But if you look at the list of Pulitzer Prize books, you will see that for this price at least, quite a few amazing women [of time] has won it long ago in the 1920s and perhaps earlier, I do remember now. Check it out. I watched the price of novels and short stories. There are also categories for poetry and non-fiction that I look not. I will now. And thanks for the heads-up on him being an anniversary of sorts by George Eliot. It was great, and it is nice to stop and think about it a bit.
