Does anyone know any good books that can talk about the issue of music education affects children’s education?
I need help with a paper that I’m writing about on how music education affects children. Any good books and/or websites I could site would be great.
This is my thesis:
During childhood, children who are more involve in music develop work ethic, explore in depth meaning and establish their academic skills. We need to protect and develop the arts in school for the education of children.

Here’s a book I picked up recently. What I like most about it is that it has sources from Ancient Greece to today. It’s a collection of writings, and I’m sure there is a chapter or two you can use out of it.
