10 Places to visit scary at Halloween

1. Bran Castle, Transylvania, Romania

Although Count Dracula is a fictional character created by writer Bram Stoker, it was based on a Romanian tyrant named Vlad Tepes, supposedly, as he liked to impale his enemies on stakes. It is said that Vlad spent time in this castle in Transylvania, Romania and the castle of Count Dracula was modeled on that. Spooky! I actually visited the castle for a few years ago and must admit is a bit scary – Many small steps and stories of creepy tour guides.

2. Salem, Massachusetts, USA

Halloween or not, this town is quite scary all year. The infamous Salem Witch Trials were held here in 1692 and 1693. More than 150 people were accused of witchcraft and imprisoned. 19 were eventually convicted of witchcraft and hanged. The city now has a museum on the tests, is home to School of Witchcraft Heights Elementary and the local football team, the witches.

3. The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado, USA

the shining is one of the few horror movies that scared me. You can actually stay at the hotel that inspired the novel by stephen king. Like the film, the hotel has a story scary. Flora Stanley, the wife of the owner, is said to haunt the big hotel, plays a piano at night and wandering around the lobby. If you decide to stay here, avoid the 4th floor, which is widespread to be filled with emotion after dark.

4. Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, Fall River, Massachusetts, USA

If only visit a site disaster is not scary enough for you, you will love this B & B. Lizzie Borden been accused of murdering his parents with an ax in the same building in 1892. Although it has been found not guilty by reason of lack evidence, many people believed it was the culprit. Now you can stay on the scene, sleeping in his old room, and even have the same meal that his parents had before they meet their maker. Scary!

5. The Tower of London, United Kingdom

One of the most popular attractions of Great Britain, it can also be one of the most haunted. The Tower of London was the venue of choice for executions, killings and torture for over 400 years, with many observations ghosts have been reported since. Rumor has it that the spirit of Ann Boleyn one of the wives of Henry VIII, was beheaded in 1536, has been spotted in the Tower, sometimes carrying her head. Bizarre

. The city of York, UK

A BBC report called York in the United Kingdom as the most haunted city in the world with a total of 504 recorded hauntings accordance with the Ghost Research Foundation International. York with its history of conflict and many tragic events has more ghosts than any other city in world. Observations include soldiers without legs at the House of Treasurers, ghosts book browsing in the library of the museum, a ghostly nun Theatre Royal and a mill poltergeist. Spooky!

7. The Catacombs of Paris, France

The Catacombs of Paris is an underground cemetery that has been around since 1788. When Parisian cemeteries were becoming too crowded and the disease spreads because of improper burial, the catacombs were used to store the bones. In 1814, the graves were filled. Stretching a basement huge 300 km, only a small part is open to the public. Not for the timid (or clostraphobic!).

8.Raynham Hall, Norfolk, United Kingdom

Raynham Hall in Norfolk was the scene probably the most famous ghost image in the world taken in 1936. Legend has it that the ghost known as the Lady Brown Lady of Raynham is the one who has imprisoned in the room after her husband discovered she had an affair. It has never been allowed to leave the room and remained there until his death.

9. Pripyat, Ukraine

Pripyat is an abandoned town near Chernobyl, which happened, the worst nuclear accident in the plant in history. Once Home to 50,000 people, for years he has been abandoned, but in 2002, was opened to visitors. Although radiation levels are safe for short-term exposure is a place I do not want to visit. The scene of such an atrocity is not something I want to see. Moreover, the forest around the plant is now populated by wolves and bears. If you have not radiation, it would. Thank you!

10. The Bermuda Triangle

href = "http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_jhN2_ElbmJU/SQZeAb-mQOI/AAAAAAAAANE/E_N9RSQBe-0/s1600-h/bermuda.gif"> The Bermuda Triangle, also known as Devil's Triangle 's, is an area off the southeast coast of the United States in the Atlantic Ocean where Ships, planes and people have mysteriously disappeared. Over the past 100 years, it has been reported that up to 100 vessels and 1,000 people have disappeared in those waters, most of which can not be explained. Although there are many critics who believe incidents were exaggerated or incorrectly reported, many disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle remains unexplained despite considerable research.
