Should I have a shopping spree at my local Christian book store?
yes I am a Christian. And I just bought a book called Knowing the Face of God the search for a personal relationship with God.
And I like going to the that book store.I also recently bought a book called Heaven by randy Alcorn. What a good book. I enjoyed it.
There is things I want to get at that book store like more books.
Probably better to read widely than concentrate on one subject. Constant affirmation by reading constantly about the same viewpoint doesn’t allow you to develop a balanced view of life. “How can you say your favourite cheesecake is strawberry when you’ve never tasted blueberry cheesecake?” is an over-simplification, but you get my point.
The God Delusion by Dawkins provides a very sensible alternative that asks you why strawberry is your favourite and asks how you can best know the answer to that question for sure.
