Writing a children story about 1 of 3 topics, related to space?
Topics include:
The universe
The life cycle of a star
The planets.
Alright, so we have an assignment to write a children’s story ( for ages 8-10 ) about one of those topics above. I think that I want to do the planets, but I have no ideas at all!! Can you please help me?? I need to have characters and they would be going around the the planets, but I need a story!!! Please HELP! :/

Hmmm… How about a “comets tale”? A comet can travel through space and visit different planets, asteroids, stars, planetary moons, the sun, etc… Give all the planets their own personalities. Mercury being a hot planet could be a “Hot Head”, Pluto, being the smallest or dwarf could have size issues. Jupiter being the biggest might be a bully or a father figure seeing as how it has 4 moons. Venus could be a lady planet….
