any books as good as harry potter and the twilight series???

so i’ve read harry potter and almost done the twilight series, and if i wasn’t for twilight, i’d be giving up on reading. help! any good books out there??? none alike twilight (no vampire/rmance please- twilight is a rare). i love fantasy not gossip girl kinda stuff.

There are many great book that are as good as the Harry Potter series (which, by the way, I have read and I LOVE). This is a list of my favorite books/series. They are all fantasy:

-Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer

-The Inheritance Trilogy (Eragon, Eldest, Third Book to come out) by Christopher Paolini

-The Lord of the Rings (inluding the Hobbit) by J.R.R. Tolkein

-The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

-The Bartemaeus Trilogy (Not sure if I spelled that right) by Jonathan Stroud

-His Dark Materials Trilogy (Golden Cpmpass, Subtle Knife, and Amber Spyglass) by Philip Pullman

-The Abhorsen series (Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen) by Garth Nix

-The Inkworld Trilogy (Inkheart, Inkspell, Inkdeath) by Cornelia Funke

Another book by Cornelia Funke is also excellent, but it is not fantasy. Its called Thief Lord.

These are all extremely WONDERFUL books that I cannot stop reading. I can’t describe in words how awesome they are. I know this sounds corny, but I really love reading.
