The Bible is the book most sales in history. How is it that nobody reads?

I do not read. I try to read all days. Sadly I am not, but I really try to read it very often. But to answer your question, here are several reasons I can think of: – The people are more secular today, and not religious. Being secular = no real reason to read the Bible (unless it is for academic reasons or just pure interest, which is rare, see below item) – he used to read a little in academia (analysis of English courses, universities, after all, is one of the greatest works of literature of all time, the best in my opinion), but is on the decline – a growing contempt for organized religion, especially Christianity discourages reading the Bible at all – people, even Christians, are really very busy in the "fast growing, and often do not have time to read the Bible, even if they are there, you have my two cents:)
