I need help finding a good theme for my short story analysis.?

I am a short story anyalysis for my English class, and the story is about a Grammy Award winning young girl who is just that the world ends. And she is not ready to accept that the cause is, it is pretentious and is ready to die with his Oscar prize. So all I need is just a good theme that contributes to the whole "world endless situation. THANK YOU:)
