Slavery may have played an important role in the construction of development newly established American colonies in the New World, but equality and human rights has finally won then, winning former slaves their rights as citizens of a country they helped build. There was a price that was widely supported by almost all the world in a country that promotes freedom for all. After emancipation, African-Americans still had to endure decades of racial discrimination and segregation. However, with their determination, confirmed the principles of human rights, natural talent and perseverance, they helped shape the image of the United States of America as a land of endless opportunities and great power. For decades, Many Blacks have marked their names and have greatly contributed to the development of their fields, the arts, academia, science, culture, sports, politics, economic and economics, among others.
